Christmas shopping tips

Shopping for Christmas present is not an easy task. Last year I did my Christmas shopping few days before Christmas and boy it takes me almost a day to complete my list. This year I want to enjoy it, that is why I am planning to shop early to getaway of stress and hassle. If you haven’t had your Christmas shopping here are 10 tips:

1. DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE

When you shop a day before Christmas you’re going to struggle the crowds, limited items are available, wait in long queues. If possible buy your gifts little by little, start shopping beginning of October of November. With this you can keep away from having shopping failure.

2. SHOP IN OFF-PEAK HOURS

Some stores open early in the morning during holiday season and closes at midnight. I always want to shop late in the afternoon or at night during holiday season, during this time lot of people are done shopping so I don’t need to be in a long queue. I can even finish my shopping in one to two hours depend on my shopping list.

3. SET A BUDGET

Make a budget and stick on your budget. Buy quality gifts product at a very affordable price. With this you will not have problem paying your credit card after the season.

4. TAKE A LIST

When doing Christmas shopping be sure to have a list and a pen with you. Mark checked to the items you bought. This way, you will know closely what u needs to buy and most likely you will not forget anything.

5. LOOK FOR SALE

Watch out for the “Christmas Sales” this way you can save a lot of money.

6. LAYAWAY PLAN

If your budget is not enough and you have a vast of list consider a layaway plan. You can find stores that allow you to do the payment until Christmas.

7. SHOP ONLINE

Shopping online is a good way to save some money. Search for an online store that offers free shipping, with this you don not need to pay for the shipment. You can also spot great deals in almost everything.

8. BUY IN VOLUME

If you are buying gifts for some people think of buying it in bulk. This way you can save some bucks. Sample of items that you can buy in volume are bags, scented candles, figurines and etc.

9. BUY EXTRA GIFT

Buy something items that can be for a man or woman and wrap in a nice Christmas wrapper. But don’t forget to label it.

10. SAVE YOUR RECEIPT

You can change broken items and wrong sizes provided you have the receipts with you.
