Multi-awarded Filipino rap icon Francis Magalona passed away at The Medical City hospital in Pasig City around noon today, after nearly seven months battle of leukemia. He was 44.Francis death was announce in national television in the noontime variety show Eat Bulada by Vic Sotto, few minutes after his death. His remains lie in state at the Christ the King Memorial Chapel in Greenmeadows, Quezon City.
He is survived by his wife Pia Arroyo and children Unna, Nicolo, Francis Jr., Elmo, Arkin, Clara, and actresses Maxene and Saab.
