Swine Flu Scare

The worrisome new virus which combines genetic material from pigs, birds and humans is freighting lot of people today.

Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza that regularly cause outbreaks of influenza among pigs. Since there is no flight directly flight from Mexico to Manila authorities is also checking the travel history of all the arriving passengers. People are also advice to avoid hugging and kissing at public gatherings.

The symptoms of swine flu in human include fever, runny nose, coughing, sore throat, vomiting and diarrhea. A customer of pork has nothing to worry about as cooked pork will not transmit the virus to someone who eats pork with swine virus.
